While browsing on the internet I visited one of my favorite blogs.

She is offering up a free pattern for this sweet little bunny. She made it into a pin to wear for spring. It was so cute I thought I would make a little pillow for Easter with it. I just cut out the pattern onto some white wool and appliqued it using Pink embroidery floss.
I then added some spring buttons (from Joann's fabric store) and embroidered the green stems with a little grass....
And of course I had to add some Pink rick rack.....and then I thought I needed to add a little more Pink, so I then found some old Pink lace that I had and voila!

Cute and sweet. I just looked at those buttons yesterday at Joann's. Now I may have to get some and embroider little stems and leaves on -- something -- maybe a little denim skirt for a little girl?. What a great idea.

Mmmmmmmmmm.........I just LOVE wool felt........your little pillow (or piddow,as my grandson used to say)....is soooooooo SPRING! Good for you! And, actually finished in the season too! I have a bit of trouble with that......you know, the old "buy it because you love it and finish it years later" syndrome?? :-)
