Thanks to Leslie @
http://sweets-mycountryhome.blogspot.com/ I am getting my projects done....I'm determined to finish them....they are in a stack (about 100 miles high) and I'm finishing them one by one! Leslie posted me and said that it is ok to post about on going projects that you may not have completely finished but you are in the process. Well I am on the way girlfriends to finishing more since I started blogging then before. Don't you know you accomplish more projects because of blogging? I see things in blog land and think "OH MY GOSH I HAVE TO TRY THIS!" IT really adds to the already 1000's of projects I already have waiting for me! This is an apron made out of cotton that looks like redwork (which I adore)....

and this is a cross stitch I finished oh about ^$%#@@ years ago..not sure what all those symbols mean but they do make the point that it has been way too long! Is anyone else out there relating to me....some of you said you finish all your projects....that they don't lay around for long...you do them or get rid of them....I was humbled and realized only I could make myself get up and get going...no one was coming to the house to help me finish all of these projects!

At least I don't think so....

So here are two things I actually completed.

I am truly motivated...I only have a few hundred left....but I will finish....after I have a nap and then maybe some coffee....
Big smile!

Your finished projects are adorable. Hey, I'm right there with you. It seems like when you blog, there are others out there that understands what you're doing and can relate. My two guys at home are like "Uh huh..that's nice" Whereas our fellow bloggers are like "cute, adorable, luv it, how did you make it, brillant, etc." I had much rather hear those comments, right?
Both of your projects are so cute!! The cross stitch is perfect for July 4th holidays and the apron is just perfect for anytime!!!!! LOVE them!♥
Don't look at it as having thousands more to DO! Look at it as having two DONE!
And those two look amazing!
Debbie,
Lookin' good! You made progress and it always feels so good, doesn't it? The apron is really cute and I love your cross stitch! That frame is really cute!
Blogging does keep me on my toes and makes me want to finish things so I can share them. But like you said, it also shows us what others it working on and then our list grows! LOL
Have a great day and I hope you get a few more things accomplished :)
Leslie
CUTE APRON! I always have unfinished projects.....
Oh, I so wish I could sew. Your projects are so delightful. Thanks for visiting me. It is very nice to meet you.
Hugs,
Sue
Now, I'm motivated to finish up a couple of projects. Love your apron fabric. Sally
Debbie,
You did a great job on both projects, they're beautiful. Thanks for sharing. You're such a great motivator.
Blessings,
Marcia
That apron is so cute! i totally agree about seeing others' projects and jumping up to say, "I have to do that - I have just the fabric/yarn/paper/whatever to do it." I have a big ol' stack of fabric and notions piled on the guest room bed right now waiting for me...calling my name...but which one to do first? Oh, yes, the little kitchen tablecloth.
Woo Hooness for you, Debbie! Getting so many projects done! I love the fabric on your little sweet apron and your cross stitch looks so cute! Now you're making me want to get busy!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I had to laugh at this post. I am working on things too. And adding more as I go. I joined the step by step stitchalong blog and that is really helping me to stay on my toes to get that cross stitch project done. Then I started a block of the month and making placemats and and and....well you get the picture. Love the apron too and your cross stitch as well.
