Welcome to another Met. Monday! Be sure to check out Susan's wonderful blog @
http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ She always has something lovely to share.
This is a shelf I was fortunate to find at the thrift store. I am a shelf person...are you? I love to display little seasonal vignettes on them and probably have them in every room.

I got out the 'blogging power tool'....SPRAY PAINT!

And voila! A laundry room shelf. I hung a little Amish quilt I found in Indiana years ago.

I found another shelf for $2.00! Painted this puppy and I am going to put some spring decor in this one.

Maybe fold some tiny little miniature quilts on one of the shelves!
Thanks for the visit.
Blessings,
Debbie

Cute shelves, Debbie - I really enjoy your blog and seeing all the smart things you make and restore. I'm itchin' to get back to doing some of that myself. Have a wonderful day!
*** Debbie, what a darling result from using your imagination n' your "blogger's power tools" (love that thought! Such a FUN choice of words!) ~~~ Many thanks for the delightful a.m. cuppa w/ you, here! Best, Linda

I like a woman who has a can of spray paint and knows how to use it. It’s one of the best inventions ever! Like your self also...Cathy
Wow! I love both shelves! I rarely ever find good shelves. I find a lot woith heart cut-outs, but I don't like those. Hearts are nice, but I prefer stars! :)
Debbie: This looks great! I am a spray paint fanatic too! I have cans and cans of it in my laundry room. Black is just classic and seems to work with everything! Great job!
Lou Cinda :)
Debbie this is such a great shelf. I am the worst spray painter ever. I get more on myself and seem to specialize in dried drips. You don't mind if I live vicariously through your spray can do you? I am so happy to meet you.
Thanks for stopping by my post to look at my vintage Easter stuff today. I enjoyed perusing your blog - you have lots of great ideas! I'll be back. Sally
You definitely have a great way with shelves, they look great!

Looks great! Love what acan of spray paint can do.
What great bargains and I love them both painted black. They just look fabulous. The little amish quilt is just wonderful. I use to collect quilts, but then that sort of gets out of hand. I had to quit. lol Thanks for the visit to my BR redo and your gracious comments. I really appreciate it. Hugs, Marty
Hi Debbie! Oh, I love your shelves and they look great painted black! I'll tell you what - you bring the black spray paint and I'll bring some fabric and decoupage!! We'll have a crafty party! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I love your shelves...they add so much character. Love the laundry one. Linda
Love your shelves. You did a great job! Have a great day!
You have done wonders with the shelves. Those were such terrific prices. Don't you just love to find bargains and turn them into treasures? They look terrific.

I love little shelves too! I need to work on my spray painting technique, though, I am not very good at it and brush painting takes forever!
Great looking and inexpensive redos! Awesome choice for today's Met Monday!
Hi Debbie! Love that little shelf you have there. Yes, Jesse is almost on his way. I ordered his senior pictures just this morning...bitter..sweet! He has shown no interest in college{sad} but is going to a trade school. Its so scary to see them grow up and Im not sure I can stop being a hen peekin' Momma if you know what I mean, hehe. Take care~
What cute little shelves. All of you bloggers have got me looking around for something to paint black. I'm lovin' it! laurie
You do a great job with little shelves. They all look adorable. On your Mar 1 post there is a picture with wallpaper in back of the shelf. Do you know who makes it and if it's still in print? I love it and have been looking for something like that for awhile. Thanks...Mimi
I am always making over finds, I like a clean, crisp palate for my shabby beach cottage by the seaside.
I didn't realise I was a shelf person until I read this, and yes sirreee, I sure am too!
Sarah
Love your shelves! They looked soooooooooooo very different when you finished with them. The black makes things really stand out! What kid of Labs do you have? We ost our sweet Duke who was a chocolate Lab in May & I am longing for another one but, not sure I am ready for the training. OH MY Duke was a stinker. Chew chew chew!
Those shelves look amazing in black! I may have to change out some things on my walls and add some shelves. They are so great because I love being able to rearrange and change things with the seasons like you do I'm sure!
Hey girl..I am a shelf person also and lately I have painted mine black! lol Yours turned out great...read down a few post...I do hope your sweet mama is doing better and that checked lamp shade is just too cute!

Hi Debbie, thanks for commenting on my post today over at the Inspired R - I agree husband's should help! I've written a few posts on that :) Great to visit you.
Cute shelves. I haven't been out thrifting in a while. I'm way way way overdue. After seeing your photos I have the bug and I need a thrifting fix. ASAP
