You're still not finished yet with those crafts?

I am soooo very embarassed to even post these pictures. But I have a plan in mind. Perhaps if I show these pictures to you...I will make the incentive to finish ALL these unfinished projects. Perhaps some of you have some too. I HAVE been the queen of unfinished projects, quilts, cross stitcheries....anyone still have a project from when your kids were small...and now they are in College? Married? How embarassing right?
I was cleaning and organizing and came across WAY TOO MANY unfinished projects. You know Leslie always has a Wednesday post for 'What you are working on" and I thought how awful it would be if WE ALL would come clean about unfinished projects and what we SHOULD BE WORKING ON!
Anyone out there know what I mean?

I have nearly finished cross stitch projects that WOULD HAVE made lovely decorations, or ornaments to hang.
This one I love, I even made the pattern (no idea where it is, because it was sosooooo long ago. Boohoo, quiet pitiful weeping in the background.
So ladies, I have resolved! To make up my mind! Before I start another (fun and exciting) project!!! I must! Yes I must complete (at least some of these) projects! Does anyone want to jump on this ship? The one that is headed for somewhere....a destination that involves completing the course?
This is sooo cute I can't stand that I haven't finished it! I realize much in my little craft area is undone, works in progress (from the early 90's? the 80's).....shhhh don't tell my hubby he still thinKs I need to go to Joann's or Michaels for inspiration! But I need completion!

Poor wiseman can't see where he is headed!
Who knows where the pattern is to this one!
These are just the stitcheries not finished...there are clothes that have been cut out of fabric for weddings (that happened years ago), unfinished quilts, scrapbook albums (of babies who are now in their 20's!) Oh my!
Anyone else want to share their unfinished works, their beautiful creations-almost done?

Blessings,
Debbie

Morning Debbie,

You will get those done in no time at all once you put your mind to it! You make so many beautiful things....I can see why you still have to get some of them finished!♥

Debbie,
You can post the stuff you should be working on or want to work on :) Whatcha Working On Wednesday isn't just meant for things that we completed, but for things we are in various stages of working on, even just the brainstorming part :)

You have wonderful projects that are almost completed! I'm sure you'll get quite a bit finished if you set your mind to it ;)

I don't have that many unfinished projects. I tend to keep on the ball with those things. I may be a project or two or three behind but that's about it. That's usually because my heart isn't in the project anymore for whatever reason. I try not to get behind.

Right now I am working on stitching up a Santa pattern that I printed off at Christmas time. I started to paint the fabric and had some issues with running and stopped. I finally touched it up and fixed the mess and got to work on Friday. He's looking good!

Have a great day :)

Unfinished projects? Yep I have those. And I keep getting more things causing me to have more unfinished projects. Sigh....today on my craft blog I post a cross stitch I am currently working on. I joined the Step by Step Stitch Along blog. It is really helping to stay focused on this project and get it done. Good luck with getting your unfinished projects finished.

Okay, you twisted my arm! I'm not one to start something and not finish it. That is one of my peeves, but..........I started a cross stitch project several years ago, probably 5-6 years ago and just got sick of it and put it away. I have taken it out a few times and worked on it, but it is still not finished. Maybe one of these days.....
Good luck finishing your's!

oooh. I know you'll probably cringe. But I don't keep unfinished projects. If something sits for a few months in my "project" drawer and I pull it out, and I just don't get that spark to finish it, it goes. Either to a friend or family member that would like to complete it or re-purpose it. Or our local community center or something. I do complete projects, so I figure if a project isn't done within a few months, than it probably won't ever get done. My logic is that I obviously wasn't that much into it, to begin with, or it would be done by now. LOL did ya catch all that? It stresses me out to have unfinished projects. ooxx`jodi

Hi Debbie, your post caught my eye because I've done that Merrie Christmas tree a couple of times myself... only I painted the figures and stitched the tree. Luckily it was a fast finish... I have a huge pile of my own to sift through one of these days!
Blessings, Kimberly

Those are all so cute! You have to finish at least one!

I always work on 2-3 projects at a time so I'm usually in the middle of something. But I find it really good motivation to know that I'll be posting it on my blog. Good luck!

I have an unfinished project that is more than 30 years old! It's my only one, and I know I still have it, but I don't know where it is!

Lit & Laundry has Finished on Friday as you get things done.

If there's something you don't care for anymore, you could give it away as a RAK for someone else to finish.

I did that with needlework for a long time. Now, I have no idea where all of those unfinished projects are. I have scrapbooking hanging over my head. Years ago, I bought supplies and was determined to get started. I did not get very far, and I think about it so often, but never get around to doing it. Maybe... if I quit blogging and visiting blogs, I'd get them done! laurie

I have a few things to finish around here. Like my house for instance. Plus a few bags of unfinished handwork. I don't know if I'm up to making a commitment though...Mimi

Yep, I have them to, in fact in a drawer right where my computur is...it's a cross stitch project that I started about 9 years ago.lol I try to avoid looking at it when I open the drawer:)
Have a great day and don't worry you will get them done and if not give them to someone who would love to have them in their home:)

I always like having a project going on. All of them look beautiful and I bet you'll finish them in no time!

LOL oh my I have many projects in various stages of finishing. One thing or another happened at the time that I was working on them. I would put them up with the intention of finishing them up. Things get moved around and yep things get forgotten. I know when I get finished with my new craft/sewing room I will probably have a box full of things. Enjoy going back and remembering what was happening at the time you were working on those projects. I know I will. Take care,
Sue

I have a collection (about 8)of Father Christmas' to cross stitch. I have been working on one very big one for about 3 years. I have even changed my eyeglass prescription once during this time but now I can't focus close up to work on it. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
