This is an old shelf that was battered, bruised and scarred and needed quite a bit of refurbishing!
I washed it, fixed the broken shelf...what was left...and then got out the trusty spray paint! I love this old shelf and love to decorate it for the seasons. It is now in my dining room. On the right side of the shelf where it is broken, I set a 'fake' ivy plant to cover the hole in the shelf...
And there could even be some chocolate hidden behind the fake plant....hmmm....I don't want to give away ALL my secrets!

Just can't hardly believe it's the same shelf! BIG difference, it looks great and yes, I'm guilty of hiding imperfections with fake plants too! (of course, I never thought about hiding chocolate there!)

What a great little shelf. Someone with a less discerning eye might have just tossed it, but look at what a little treasure you have. I like the way you displayed your white pottery on it too.
