Metamorphasis Mondays

Welcome again to Metamorphasis Monday@ http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ where you show something you have transformed!
This is an old shelf that was battered, bruised and scarred and needed quite a bit of refurbishing!
I washed it, fixed the broken shelf...what was left...and then got out the trusty spray paint! I love this old shelf and love to decorate it for the seasons. It is now in my dining room. On the right side of the shelf where it is broken, I set a 'fake' ivy plant to cover the hole in the shelf...

And there could even be some chocolate hidden behind the fake plant....hmmm....I don't want to give away ALL my secrets!
Thanks for your visit!
Blessings,
Debbie

Just can't hardly believe it's the same shelf! BIG difference, it looks great and yes, I'm guilty of hiding imperfections with fake plants too! (of course, I never thought about hiding chocolate there!)

Hi, Debbie ...

Just a note to thank you for taking the time to visit and leave a note on my Southern Lagniappe blog. I'm so glad it led me to your "Ribbonwood Cottage."

You did an amazing job on the shelf ... it's so pretty in its new home!

I enjoyed visiting you and will be back again soon.

Sincerely,

What a great little shelf. Someone with a less discerning eye might have just tossed it, but look at what a little treasure you have. I like the way you displayed your white pottery on it too.

Hard to believe that's the same shelf! I did a double-take and had to go back up and look at the "before" of it a couple of times. Very nice makeover!

I love that there may be chocolate hiding somewhere. Your secret is safe with us. :-)

That's a great shelf, and everyone needs a little place to hide the chocolate! (I've got my stashes here and there!) It looks awesome!
