PINK SATURDAY!

Welcome to another Pink Saturday! Christmas and New Year's Day were wonderful and I hope they were wonderful for you!

Please visit Beverly @http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/ for more pink goodness!
I have started the new year with a bang! An organizing bang that is. I don't know about you but I do not enjoy filing or going through piles (piles and piles at my house!) of paper. So I had this thought!!!! If the files looked pretty maybe I would file more! hahaha...we will see.

I covered file folders using glue sticks, adhesives, spray adhesive...you add your glue then press the paper (scrapbook paper) on to the file pressing down firmly. You can then trim the edges and corners with a corner punch or just use scissors.
I then covered the inside with just a portion of paper, the part that shows on the tab...
Then I used a label maker and labeled the files and added embellishments.
I inked the edges of my files because I liked the look.

I did several pink files, some for Valentines, some for blogging and keeping track of passwords...

I hope filing will now be as fun as decorating them! Now if I could just get someone in my family to bring the stacks and stacks of papers that go in the files, I'd be all set! Thanks so much for coming by!
Blessings,
Debbie

Oh my goodness, those are wonderful! I just finished reorganizing 3 rooms and the last little project among them was this big bag of overdue filing. And I just do not want to do it! Having files like your would bring joy to the task. Oh I just have to have some of those too!

Thanks for sharing.
