Good morning! I wanted to show you a couple more things I made from a vintage tablecloth. Yesterday I showed a mini pillow I had made, today I have two pillowcases. My hubby hasn't grumbled about the red yet so I am leaving it. He doesn't care for red and thinks it is way too bright for a bedroom. I told my farmer just to think of tomatoes or Rhode Island Red Chickens...you have to talk in farm lingo to a farmer.

Also....see the little red heart pillow, it used to be a boiled wool jacket...you know the kind you dry clean?
Well Mr. Farmer loves to do laundry after I go to bed, all of it....wadded, clean, wrinkled and dry on the counter for me to fold in the morning. Well here was my 'now' tiny wool jacket....wadded, clean, wrinkled...so I decided to make something out of it!

Hahaha...you gotta love a man who does laundry!

Blessings,

I love the red! I like how you have everything put together. Great way to make "lemonade"...taking your ruined jacket and making something special out of it. Love it :)
Have a great day!

Hi Debbie -
I love reading your blog and I love seeing that you and your lovely daughter are good buddies like me and my daughter!
I think you should sometime make you a new header from the table scape that you had in your last post. The colors are FABULOUS! I love your decor in the reds, greens and yellows! It would be so pretty. Who wouldn't love to sit down and eat at a table like yours!
I love the red!!!
I love all the red, too! It's beautiful. And the heart is priceless- especially how it came to be.
What a darling blog you have here! So bright & cheerful! I really enjoyed my visit! ~Maryjane
The heart is just too cute! Love the pillows and the quilt.
I found your blog through Daisy Cottage. I love the pillowcases! What a great idea. I love red, too, and have a bit of it in every room in my house. And yellow:)
Love your blog. Your cottage is very cozy and inviting.
You've made lemonade out of lemons. My kind of girl! Mimi
What a great way to enjoy vintage tablecloths in another room in your house besides the kitchen. Beautiful!
Your bed looks so pretty, and I think red is a great color for a bedroom.
Good Morning, Debbie, The pillows are so pretty and HAPPY! I love them! ...especially the one below with the ball fringe! The red and white quilt on the bed is pretty too! ~hugs, Rhonda
Lovely. Everything is so fresh and cheery.

Wow - you could come up with 100's of different tablescapes to use for headers! You have so many cute colorful things! Have fun with that! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with - I love your red and white quilts, too. I have several passed down to me from grandmothers. In my grandmother's trunk we found a quilt top that HER mother had pieced - the little sunbonnet girls pattern- outlined in pink and light green. It's my favorite. My sister quilts (and I do, now) and she put a backing on it and quilted it for me! I love it!
I love red and vintage so your blog was a great find for me.
You sure do need to love a man who does laundry ... even when he (ahem) doesn't quite get the job done right.
I love all of your red, Debbie! It feels like spring with all of those flowers and cheeriness. So much nicer than the 30+ inches of snow we have on the ground here in Maine.
Thanks for sharing that punch of color and have a great weekend!
Hi Debbie,
These are just gorgeous! I need to go look for some vintage tablecloths pronto. How do I add on to your blog follower? I can't find the spot. thanks, Cindy
At least you were able to reuse your cute jacket in another way! It turned out great and looks so pretty among your pillows.
Yes, gotta love a man that does laundry. It's a great heart! The bed looks wonderful too. The red designs are really pretty.
