Cleaning, decorating, cleaning, organizing, cleaning...

Hello! I have long ago put the Christmas stuff away, but wanted to show this picture to show my after picture!
I usually have a million framed pictures of family on our grand piano, along with the wedding wall to the right that has black and white framed wedding photos. I love pictures of grandparents in their wedding attire. Very sweet.

Next is the computer area and file cabinet...we now have two computers since we have some extra family living with us. I am trying so very hard to be organized, it is a process everyday to put things where they go...

I would love to go out and buy a big computer hutch/desk, but until then, this has to work.

Next I had to show you what I found at the thrift store with the price tags still hanging from them! Yipppeeeee.....stitcheries for winter. I love how sweet they are.

I wasn't sure what these two are up to but it does look sweet.

Once this area is done (there are papers on the floor that you can't see waiting to be filed) then it is on to all the drawers in the house.....bleeeaaahhhhyuk.....
Anyone organized a jewelry drawer recently? A jewelry chest is too small! I have a large drawer I am getting ready to organize with little boxes for all the earrings etc. How do you organize your jewelry? I would love to know!

Blessings,
Debbie

Great before and after shots. My jewelry is all tangled in a drawer. It used to be in little boxes I found for jewelry at the Container Store. Yeah... it's overflowing now and everywhere. ha!

I use vintage muffin tins for my earrings and bracelets. I also purchased a couple of "four hook" wood bars at walmart for my necklaces. I just screwed them to the wall next to my dresser. You can find them in the hook, cabinet knob, etc. aisle. Hope this helps!

Hey Debbie; Love all the before and after photos everything looks so great. How I organize my jewelry, I have my top dresser drawer for all mine, I bought a big silverware drawer holder and use that. The long areas like for knifes and forks is perfect for necklaces and my bracelets go in the smaller ones. Now for my rings, I had a old jewelry box just too out the ring drawers and put them in next to it. I seems to work out great, now if you have wide and deep enough drawer you could use two of them, I found one that had a nice rubber in the bottom of each one at Wally World....
hope that gives you some help.

hugs;

I enjoyed browsing through your blog. I came over from "Joys of Home" because I thought the name of your blog was so cute. I was not disappointed. I need to follow your lead and organize. As far as organizing jewelry, well...I don't need to worry about it since my teenage daughter has taken over my jewelry (bugs me) and she has it scattered everywhere.
Have a good day.

Oh my heart skips a beat when I see all those quilts, Debbie!

I love all your rearranging and redos after Christmas!

My jewelry organizing is a huge things that frustrates me! I would love a jewelry armoire but I don't have one. All my jewelry is in jewelry boxes in a drawer. I have to move them around and peek in boxes to find what I need! I need help!
