Lovin' that Gingerbread decor and a little more

Merry Christmas once again! Thanks for stopping by! My wonderful hubby a few years back bought me an old hoosier, which I love to decorate for the holidays. This time it holds a Kitchen tree which I showed a couple of posts back, and different gingerbread decorations. This is an old cookie sheet that I glued wooden gingerbread men that I painted, on. Added the bow and voila. If you remember the tree I had made a few miniature versions to hang as ornaments.

Also I put a wonderful cinnamon smelling candle in an old flour sifter...love it!
Here, above...you can see the little rolling pin decorated with gingerbread boys and girls.

Lastly I wanted to show you the shelf in my laundry room!

I still have my garden bunny theme that I just added Christmas items to. But I had an idea when I was in the scrapbook section and saw these little Santa Clothes (by Jolee) and thought wouldn't that be cute hung on a clothesline for Santa Laundry!

I cross stitched the words....took just a few minutes...and the line and then hot glued the clothes in the right place, framed it....and I love it!

Hey Girlie!

I love your ginger collection. My MIL also is a collector, every yr on Black Friday her and I take a ride up to Christmas Central in Buffalo, NY just for the gingerbread decor. I think this may be a store for you - they do have a website.....http://www.christmascentral.com/

This is my favorite Christmas store, it is AMAZING! Of course they have other "themes" as well but I thought this might be something youde like!

Thanks for stopping by yesterday, your comment brought me cheer and a great big smile. Youre right, God did make the "bitter" waters "sweet".

Thank you for that:)

Wow you're so "together". I can't even find a moment to get out all the Christmas decor. And I want so bad to be crafting but it doesn't seem to happen. Your gingerbread with the snowman scene is darling! Blessings... Polly

I've not seen anyone with a gingerbread collection, but I LOVE gingerbread... I think I would be hungry the entire time I would visit you, you'd have to be sure to have a plate of cookies out, ok?

Thanks for sharing!

I got my gingerbread stuff out today :) I have a few things on a tiny tree...not nearly as much as you but just a little bit.

The Santa laundry is cute :) Years ago Shane bought some scrapbooking things like that that were Army uniforms! We stuck them to muslin and framed them. He loves those little things. The best stickers I ever purchase!

Have a great weekend!

This brings back memories of the days when the kids were little & we set aside a Saturday to fill the house with friends & make Gingerbread Houses!

Your decor is both fun AND lovely.

Debbie,
I thought of you on Saturday! The kids and I went to Michael's and I found mini rolling pins...about 5" long for 99¢! I got myself one, of course :)

I love all your gingerbread decor...they are so cheerful. I have the same gingerbread picture (in the green frame) and it is one of my favorites! I could kick myself for not buying a hoosier cabinet when we lived in Indiana, I have always wanted one! Hope you will come by for a visit!
