Christmas Fun!

Merry Christmas everyone! I don't know about you but I am not ready!!!! AAAAhhhhhKKKK! Shopping seems never ending! I'm ready for a long winter's nap. I woke up this morning after 4 1/2 hours of sleep with my hubby standing over me..."are you ready to get up and clean the kitchen...I'll help if you make coffee." Oh my...I could hardly function. We had our whole church over last night for a party, food, little gifts (some fun-sand paper and paint thinner, some great- real jewelry!) We had a great time...but I need sleep....
Those bags under my eyes are so big they need luggage tags!
I'd like to build a fire, snuggle under a quilt....drink hot coffee (caffeine anyone?) and watch my daughter wrap ALL the gifts!

I wanted to show you a quick craft...I of course had to use more glitter! First I used a paint brush and elmers glue, painted free hand the holly shape, sprinkled green glitter on it. After it dried I painted the rest of the jar with elmer's glue and sprinkled on coarse glitter. Hot glued the red buttons on and added ribbon. I love it with the candy canes in it!

Another Santa I cross stitched a few years ago...he is one of my favorites

I am very happy right now...here is my daughter (on left) and my wonderful daughter in love (on right)...they love each other and they are both killer soccer players!

The mountain you see from our front living room window.

My middle son with me...boy my hair looks blonde! YIkes! He is wonderful! He is my musical one. My oldest son here with his sweet bride, loves to sing...bless his heart...he misses the right notes...but oh how he sings...we told him to stick to preachin'....loves to tell stories!I am sooo blessed! So grateful! So honored...So very tired! Hahaha
I pray you have a lovely Christmas with friends and family...peaceful and filled with hope!

Hi Debbie!

What a beautiful post! I love your minis too! omgosh, how cute!! and all your pictures look so cozy and pretty! Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comments !

I added you to my blog roll, I adore your blog too!

The ornaments are from Hallmark, the oven is called "Christmas cookies" and its from the 2004 series and the Fridge is from 2007 and called " Holiday Fridge"... they are available on "retired" Hallmark websites, but I found them on Ebay and saved some money that way too :)

Hope that helps, and I hope you have a fabulous Christmas!!

Hugs, Cynthia

Oh you poor dear. It's nice that you can still have such a great sense of humor in your exhaustion. Your post had me chuckling!
I love your frosty candy can jar holder. I just bought three more bottles of Martha Stewarts snow glitters and have been wanting to make something with them. That looks like a good project for me and my dd since she loves glitter probably as much as you do!
The pictures of your family are all so beautiful. Your daughter looks just like you, lucky girl. :)
Hugs & blessings to you and your family. I hope your Christmas is filled with many wonderful blessings~ Birgit
