I have been having so much fun, printing off sayings for fall on my computer then making/
decopaging these wood signs. I bought a long piece of wood/pine...cut it with a hand saw (I'm not allowed to use a power saw, because I play the piano) then I paint the edges, and decoupage with scrap paper, little cutouts, stamps, rub ons...it is addicting. I work on them a little in the morning before I go to work, so the one layer can dry while I am at work...
Then after all the layers are on and dry I get to add glitter somewhere! I can't wait to work on some Winter/Christmas ones.

I found this little platter at the thrift store for 2.00, not sure where to put it, maybe up on a wall.
Have a blessed day.

What a wonderful idea!
I can't use power tools either, but for other unmentionable reasons! LOL
This is something even I can do. And it seems fairly inexpensive.
Love it!

I love the sign. Looks great :)
I used to play with the power saws more than I do now. I kind of scared myself and have been too chicken to pick them up since. I wish I wasn't worried about getting hurt because I could get a lot more done if I didn't have to wait on Jer! LOL
Have a great day :)

This is a great craft idea. I was just talking with a patient yesterday about playing the piano. She has long fingers, longer than mine. I told her she would have no problem playing the ovctaves. I can barely reach an octave, longer than that, forget it. I have to leave either the bottom or the upper note off. Oh well. Oh and another thing, there were always nail clippers on the coffee table at my aunt's house. She taught me piano. If the nails made noise on the piano, you had to trim them. Thanks for triggering the memories.
Good Morning, Debbie! You are so crafty! The sign is amazing! :) ~Rhonda
