I wonder if they like green beans??? Time to put hubby to work, while I ponder...
Sweet little squirrels saving their acorns for the winter, and the
quail have hidden since it is so cold outside...
See my little bird to the left from Ginger, sweet little gift. Thank you again Ginger...
Last but not least, my hubby and I took a bit of a drive, saw dear friends...also my blogging friend from http://bendingthebow.blogspot.com. She is the one who we prayed for, her little boy had Malaria while they were doing missions in Africa. He is doing much better and thank you. Yes people do go to Africa! Oh my! I gave her the 'Thankful' plaque I made a few posts ago...and she gave me some adorable hand carved wood eggs. I will show those later, they go with my bird collection.
We giggled, drank coffee (yay Pumpkin lattes!) and talked endlessly about fun things! Thank you Mary Beth!
Well I must go and work on cooking ...
This is the sweetest little tea pot I got with two cups at a thrift store. I love it, it has brown toile, which I love for the fall season...
And then a brown sugar/creamer set. The brown napkins are from the same store. Everytime I go in there they are selling fabric napkins in sets. I love it. I'm going to have to figure out a way to organize them, since I'm starting to have so many colors.
I'm off to make fettucine, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, salads galore, cookies, ok and a few vegetables, pumpkin pie, apple cobbler...yum...fire up the coffee maker, I'm a cookin'!
Blessings,
Debbie
Proverbs 31:15 "She also rises while it is yet night, and provides (alot of) food for her household!" I wonder if her hubby could cook?

Hi Debbie:
Oh wow your dinner sounds delicious, can we all come too? lol. How did these college boys get so lucky to get an invitation? The green beans look so good too. Sounds like you almost need a little road side stand for all that good produce.
I think the little pumpkins look really cute on the table. I would leave them.
And you are so welcome for the bird. I went back to get a couple more for my daughter and daughter in laws and they were all gone.
Enjoy your dinner.
Ginger

Debbie,
Wow green bean are my absolute favorite vegetable. I'll be on a plane tomorrow. OK, it might be for the chicken fried steak.
Your table looks beautiful as always.
Gretchen
Deb, I'm coming to your house for dinner! I'm so glad you're in that "cookin' mood"--those college men will really be happy they came home with yours.
Just one smarty question: how can a green bean be saved? I didn't know it had an immortal soul. Oh, how I crack me up at times. Nice to see Himself--or even part of Himself--in your picture. That is one heapin' mess of green beans, and I wish I were there to have some.
As usual, I love all your decorations!

That is a lot of green beans. I always make a green bean casserole for the holidays. Doesn't matter which holiday, I'm always asked to make Nea's Green Beans.
Seth and I had such a blast with you guys. We love you guys much. My beautiful "thankful" plaque is hanging proudly in my dining room. Thanks.
