Candy corn is on the loose at my house, the crows are after them! The pumpkins are just glad they aren't for dinner this time!

Have you ever laid in bed thinking about things instead of going to sleep? This is a little problem I have! Do you ever do this? I get so tired and get ready for bed, and then...
I start thinking about sewing, getting out the glue gun...

back to the candy corn topiaries, I ended up making those, pillows,
and there's more to come...

Then I cut out triangles out of the piece of fabric and sewed them together. I made pillows, little bowl fillers, and these taller versions. I cut a couple of branches spray painted them black and placed the sticks in a pot filled with beans. I decided on beans instead of dirt to stablized the topiaries. Then I put the stuffed candy corn pillow/topiaries on the sticks, hot glued them...I ended up having to shorten the stick because they kept wanting to tip over!
All in all these ended up being very easy to make. If you don't sew, you could glue the fabric together with fabric glue. There are all types of fabric glues, or you could just do scrapbook paper glued to a stick!
Thanks for coming by!
Blessings,
Debbie

I always think about stuff when I'm trying to go to sleep. It can be nagging. Unless I'm reading a book and that puts me to sleep fast. :-)
