Today is a great day, it's Pink Saturday that Beverly has made famous. Be sure to check out her sweet bloghttp://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/ , she has a list of wonderful ladies joining in on the fun, and you are welcome to join in every Saturday if you would like, just let her know. She is the wonderful hostess of all this fun, she has put alot of work and organization into this and it has become very SUCCESSFUL!

scrapbook paper...using only a glue stick. I did this months ago and they are still holding up quite well. After I glued the paper on I trimmed the excess with scissors so it ended up having a clean edge. I have done summer colors, fall colors for fall recipes and ideas,

I bet there are many people like me who do not enjoy using manilla folders but have to. I decided if I was going to file (which is my LEAST favorite job) I would at least make the files look pretty. It took an hour to do about 20 but the results are so worth it, I love it. When I file I look at them and think "wow I like that!"
It is always nice to be organized but I like it to at least look 'pretty' organized!
Blessings, Debbie

What a Great idea! I may copy you -- you know, when I get some "spare" time. ;-)
Happy Pink Saturday.
Happy Pink Saturday, Debbie.
I am in love with your folders. I just might have to have some of those for myself. I better get busy.
i love the new folders!! great idea!!!
thanks for commenting on my blog! who needs slimfast when you have cheez whiz and strawberry pizza??!!
teehee :)
have a great weekend!
I just LOVE your folders! If I did that, then maybe I would actually file stuff in the right spots! Your sewing room looks wonderful! I, too, love power tools. When I was about 29 I asked for a scroll saw for Christmas---it was a cheap little Sears number, but I wore that puppy out cutting little wood things to paint! I agree with your hubby, a church pianist should not be allowed near a power saw! Happy PSat! dana
Now aren't you very crafty to do that with your folders. I would have thought you bought them that way. Hmmm, I may have to try that. I have boxes and boxes of papers to file. I hate doing that job.
Happy Pink Saturday!
take care,
Dawn
Wow, that would surely make filing more enjoyable! What a great idea! Thanks you for showing us!
Happy Pink Saturday!

What a great idea and I hope you don't mind it if I use that idea myself.
How great to live in the country yet, be close enough to the city. I am a city girl, born and bred, but my heart longs for the country...perhaps one day.
What a neat ideal for folders!
If all my folders in the filing cabinet looked like that,I may be more enticed to file thing than to pile them up lol.
Happy Pink Saturday!
Hi! What beautiful folders! I haven't seen any like these. Thanks for coming to see me and my plate rims. I'm like you and have a couple china cabinets and a couple buffets. I can always find a place for just one more plate, well, maybe just one more set of dishes!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Oh, my gosh that is just wonderful. It's always so darned nice to travel from blog to blog, like a beautiful magazine, and the color of my passion at every turn.
Thanks so much for sharing today. Now that the flowers are fading, Pink Saturday will need to provide step up to the plate and provide for us the blossoms of our mind's eye.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend filled with sunshine and surrounded by love.
This really is a wonderful idea and the finished folders are a delight. I hope you are in the pink and having a wonderful day.

This is a great project! I might just make some of these for Mother's Day gifts for my classroom. Wouldn't that be fun! As usual, a very pretty and useful craft!
What a cute idea. I've bought some "pretty" ones before, but making your own would be so much cheaper and more personal!
Happy Pink Saturday Debbie!
I so love this idea with the folders. I am going to incorporate it into my work. I have 5 different coordinators who bring me work to design. I am going to have a page color for each of them. Then I can grab their stack at a glance, as I will know which belongs to whom. I am so thrilled with this post. Thanks for sharing it again. It clicked this time. Please stop by and let me share my pink post with you. I would love to share what I did with my cast boot. Country hugs, Sherry
I love this DecoThePlainManila idea. I've got some perfectly still good ones I will recycle and use in some albums. Thanks for the idea! Hope you'll have a minute to stop by CollectInTexas gal...it's my 2nd Pink Saturday with sooooo many wonderful new Blogging Friends....Sue
