DIY Cake stand

Ok here is the run down...
Decoupage cute paper onto a papier mache lid or other round object.. Ink the edges
with ink pad or charcoal (in scrapbook dept of store)
Attach to candle holder with glue.
You can buy scrapbook paper for Valentine's day,
Easter,
Wedding,
Graduation, (with little cupcakes on top of the cake plate that have the graduating year on a mini flag)...
lots of ideas....
Decoupage vintage image to painted terra cotta pot. Fill with candy! If there is unfortunately no candy then flowers will have to do!

Speaking of chocolate....this and coffee makes me a happy person and much better to be around.
If no real candy, then stitch some felt candy up in a pretend candy box.
And last but not least....NEVER BLOG AND COOK BREAKFAST AT THE SAME TIME!

I couldn't even get the chickens (who eat all our scraps...oh yeah we are a green family) to touch the blackened waffle.
Blessings,
Debbie

That's a beautiful cake stand! And they say chickens have tiny brains...they knew that blackened waffle wouldn't taste good.

Blessed you will be in the Country! (Deuteronomy 28:3)

We are in Southern California but we are in a very rural country area living in a Farmhouse Cottage. The Bible says you will be 'blessed in the country' and we are. My wonderful husband and I work in town but get to come home to the country, with our barn, chickens, sheep, pigeons, and many labrador dogs! Very happy because I have a wonderful family surrounding me. Thank you so much for visiting my little part of blessed Americana life!!!
